Protiti Dastidar is an Associate Clinical Professor and Associate Chair with the Management and Organization Department, University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to joining the Smith School faculty in the Fall of 2011, she was Assistant Professor at Temple University, Philadelphia and the George Washington University, Washington DC. She earned her Ph.D. in Finance from The Ohio State University, her MBA in Marketing from Webster University, Austria and her B.A. in Economics from the University of Bombay, India. Dr. Dastidar worked as a consultant at KPMG providing strategic advice for leading companies and government agencies in Europe. She served on the BPS Teaching Committee at the Academy of Management from 2015 to 2017. She organized a PDW - “Case Teaching in a Changing Environment: Teaching with Live Cases” which was a resounding success with about 100 participants. She also organized the session “Teaching Strategy through Experiential Learning” at SMS Paris.
